Today’s youth are tomorrow’s leaders. The NWTF knows that helping young people pursue their education and achieve their goals is an important step toward having leaders to conserve our nation’s land, water and wildlife resources in the future.

To help the next generation of conservation leaders continue their education, the NWTF makes more than $500,000 in scholarships available to high school seniors each year.

Students compete for NWTF-sponsored scholarships at local, state and national levels.

The top applicant for Elmore County will receive a scholarship in the amount of $1000 will have the opportunity to compete for a state/provincial chapter-funded scholarship worth up to $1,000. State/provincial chapter winners will qualify to compete for a national scholarship valued at up to $10,000.

Eligibility information for recipients and deadlines for each phase of the process are included with the NWTF Academic Scholarship Program application below.

NWTF scholarships are part of the NWTF’s Five-Star program. Applicants for the scholarship must be members of the NWTF and are judged on their scholastic achievements, leadership abilities, community involvement and commitment to conservation and the preservation of our hunting heritage.
